Prof. Yun Wang, University of California, USA
Biography:
Yun Wang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanics and Engineering Science from Peking University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He went to the Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006. Dr. Wang has produced over 90 publications in PEM fuel cell, Li-air battery, and other energy systems. He has received a number of awards, including the prestigious President's Award and Outstanding Educator Award from Orange County Engineering Council and the 2011-2012 Applied Energy Certificate of Excellence: Most Downloaded Authors. Several of his seminal works are highly cited in major energy/power journals. Dr. Wang served as Track chair/co-chair, session chair/co-chair, conference chair and committee member for many international conferences on power and energy. Dr. Wang received 2018 Reviewer of The Year from the Journal of Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage. Dr. Wang is currently Professor at the UC Irvine, RSC Fellow, and ASME Fellow.

Biography:
His research experience includes the modelling of emerging solar cell materials, and understanding their energy conversion, storage and stabilization mechanisms at the molecular scale. Recently, I focus on the data-driven approaches for modifying halide perovskite materials and predicting new solar cell materials.

Biography:
Cui Xiaohui is an associate professor/doctoral supervisor at Central South University and currently serves as the deputy director of the "Research Center for Aluminum Alloy Strong Rheology Technology and Equipment Engineering of the Ministry of Education". He is mainly researched in electromagnetic pulse forming technology, theory and equipment. Theresearch achievement are applied to aerospace, automotive, electronics and other industries. In the past five years, he has served as the guest editor of special issue of <Materials> and <Frontiersin Metals and Alloys>, the first young editorial board member of <The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals<, <China Mechanical Engineering<, <Journal of Plastic Engineering>, member of academic committee of high-speed forming technology. Hosted 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Hunan Provincial Department of Education Excellent Youth Project, and more than 10 provincial and ministerial level and horizontal projects. He has published more than 100 papers, among which the first/corresponding author has published more than 50 SCI papers in journals such as IJMTM, JMPT, MSEA, etc. He has authorized more than 60 invention patents and published 1 monograph with 1 chapter in English .
Prof. Hamid Reza Karimi

Biography:
Hamid Reza Karimi is currently Professor of Applied Mechanics with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. His original research and development achievements span a broad spectrum within the topic of control systems, mechatronics, intelligent systems, and fault diagnosis with applications such as vehicles, robotics and manufacturing systems. Prof. Karimi is a Member of Academia Europa, Distinguished Fellow of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV), Fellow of The International Society for Condition Monitoring (ISCM), Member of Agder Academy of Science and Letters and also a member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems, the IFAC Technical Committee on Robust Control, and the IFAC Technical Committee on Automotive Control. He is serving as Chief Editor, Subject Editor, Technical Editor or Associate Editor for some International Journals and Book Series Editor for Springer, CRC Press and Elsevier. Prof. Karimi has been awarded as the 2016-2021 Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher in Engineering, the 2020 IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award, August-Wilhelm-Scheer Visiting Professorship Award, JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Research Award, and Alexander-von-Humboldt-Stiftung research Award, for instance. He has also participated as General Chair, keynote/plenary speaker, distinguished speaker or program chair for several international conferences in the areas of Control Systems, Robotics and Mechatronics.
Prof. Duc Truong Pham

Duc Truong PHAM OBE FREng FLSW FSME BE PhD DEng FIET FIMechE SFHEA holds the Chance Chair of Engineering at the University of Birmingham. His research is in the areas of intelligent systems, robotics and autonomous systems and advanced manufacturing and remanufacturing technology. He has published over 600 technical papers and books and has graduated more than 100 PhD students. He is a recipient of several awards including five prizes from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the World Automation Congress and a Distinguished International Academic Contribution Award from the IEEE. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Learned Society of Wales, the Society for Manufacturing Engineers, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is the founding editor of the Springer Series in Advanced Manufacturing, the founding editor-in-chief of Cogent Engineering and the editor-in-chief of the International Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing.
Prof. Ramesh K. Agarwal

Biography:
Ramesh K. Agarwal is the William Palm Professor of Engineering in the department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Washington University in St. Louis. From 1994 to 2001, he was the Sam Bloomfield Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University in Kansas. From 1978 to 1994, he was the Program Director and McDonnell Douglas Fellow at McDonnell Douglas Research Laboratories in St. Louis. Dr. Agarwal received Ph.D in Aeronautical Sciences from Stanford University in 1975, M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 1968. Over a period of forty years, Professor Agarwal has worked in various areas of Computational Science and Engineering - Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Materials Science and Manufacturing, Computational Electromagnetics (CEM), Neuro-Computing, Control Theory and Systems, and Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization. He is the author and coauthor of over 500 journal and refereed conference publications. He has given many plenary, keynote and invited lectures at various national and international conferences worldwide in over fifty countries. Professor Agarwal continues to serve on many academic, government, and industrial advisory committees. Dr. Agarwal is a Fellow eighteen societies including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Physical Society (APS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Royal Aeronautical Society, Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA), Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). He has received many prestigious honors and national/international awards from various professional societies and organizations for his research contributions.
